Should your order not meet your expectations, we offer a transparent return process as detailed below. This policy is subject to the terms and conditions outlined in our Terms of Service.
1. The 14-Day Right of Withdrawal
We provide a clear window for you to return your purchase, allowing you to shop with confidence.
1.1 Return Period
You have the right to return your goods and request a refund within 14 calendar days of receiving your complete order. This period ensures that you have sufficient time to inspect your items fully.
1.2 Accepted Returns
We accept returns for non-defective products if you simply change your decision regarding the purchase, as well as for defective, damaged, or incorrect products if the return is due to an error on our part.
2. Product Condition and Eligibility
To be eligible for a return and subsequent refund, all items must meet the following strict conditions: the product must be completely unused, showing absolutely no signs of wear, washing, or alteration. The item must be in the exact same condition as when you received it. The product must be returned in its original, protective packaging with all tags, accessories, and components included.
Only new, resalable products are eligible for return. Products that do not meet these requirements upon inspection may be rejected, resulting in the return being sent back to the customer without a refund.
3. Return Process
3.1 Initiating the Return

3.2 Required Information
Your email request must include your complete order number, the specific product(s) you wish to return, and a clear, concise reason for the return (e.g., “Change of Mind – Size too small” or “Defective Product”).
3.3 Return Method and Instructions
Upon receiving your request, our support team will provide you with detailed instructions and the address for mailing your package back to our fulfillment center. The return method is by mail.
4. Return Shipping Costs
Our Mistake (defective, damaged, or wrong item): My School Bag covers the return shipping. We will provide a prepaid label or arrange collection.
Customer Decision (change of mind, wrong size/color ordered): Customer is responsible for return shipping.
We are pleased to confirm that My School Bag does not charge any restocking fees for eligible returns.
5. Refunds
5.1 Inspection and Notification
Once we have received your returned item, our quality control team will thoroughly inspect it to ensure it meets the condition requirements set out in Section 2. We will then notify you via email regarding the approval or rejection of your refund request.
5.2 Refund Issuance Timeline
Approved refunds are processed and applied immediately back to your original payment method. The credit is typically completed within 5 to 10 business days from the date of approval.
5.3 Banking Processing Time
Please note that this timeline is subject to your bank or card issuer, which may require additional time to post the credit to your account. If you experience a significant delay, please first check with your bank before contacting us.
6. Exchanges and Replacements
We currently handle exchanges primarily for like-for-like replacements:
6.1 Defective or Damaged Products
If you need to exchange an item for the exact same product (e.g., replacement for a defective one), please contact us first. The exchange is processed once the faulty item has been received and inspected.
6.2 Change of Size/Color
If you wish to exchange a non-defective item for a different size or color, please follow the standard return procedure (Section 3) for a refund, and then place a new order for the desired item. This ensures you receive the new item as quickly as possible.
7. Non-Returnable Goods
Due to their customized nature, personalized or customized products cannot be returned or exchanged unless they are proven to be defective or damaged upon arrival.
8. Damaged or Lost Goods
If your order arrives damaged in transit or is lost during delivery, please contact us immediately at contact@my-school-bag.com with your order details and supporting photos. We will resolve the matter quickly by arranging a replacement or a full refund, covering all associated costs.
